Event Description
This program is for those who need help understanding the basic insurance needs for startups. Your facilitator is Jen McDonald. Jen McDonald is a local Property and Casualty Insurance Agent and Community Leader. She is on the Board of Directors for The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, The President of Hillsborough Community Collage Business Advisory Board, & The Past President of the Board of Directors of the Historic Hyde Park Neighborhood Association. Jen is also an Ambassador for Working Women of Tampa Bay, is on the Board of Directors for EKHOS, and is an Active Member of the Junior League of Tampa. Jen enjoys working with entrepreneurs directly, helping her clients understand the why behind the coverage. She has been an insurance geek and enthusiast since she was back at Temple University where she dual majored in Risk Management and Insurance, and Legal Studies.  This program features a discussion about commercial insurance, risk mitigation considerations, and active role playing to see the type of questions a business owner needs to think about when identifying insurance needs.
